Note:- As is often the case with good quality Italian mirrors, there is always the temptation to say that it is "by" Fontana Arte or any other major glass manufacturer. It would be churlish for us to say 100% that a mirror, for example, is DEFINITELY "by" a particular manufacturer without supporting documentation such as an original receipt or label which, more often than not, doesn't come when buying a vintage piece. Of course, if a piece is illustrated in an authoritative book we shall always assume that the piece is "by" a manufacturer. In this particular case we prefer to make an attribution based on the excellent quality of the mirror and we would be surprised if it were not by Fontana Arte themselves.
