Pilati Interior Architecture and Design was established in 1972 and for the last 30 plus years have been working with a number of designers and luxury goods providers on projects in Germany and around the world.
They source their pieces from some of the best know designers of the times; porcelain from Bernardaud, Cavalli and Dior crystal from Saint-Louis and Herms and silver from Christofle. Based on the quality and design of this remarkable table, we believe it was most likely designed in Italy and probably commissioned by Pilati for a wealthy client. The table itself is illuminated from below through the 50 Lucite legs and the very unusual octagonal top is surrounded by a metal beading, a detail that we have never seen in more than 40 years of trading!
